Holistic Spirituality: Part 35—Stewardship & Purpose

Ken Boa summarizes holistic spirituality, and then introduces the final section of this series: Stewardship and Purpose (corresponding to chapter 20 of his book Conformed to His Image). Stewardship is especially vital in our age, when we’ve been given additional time (longevity), options, and resources compared to past generations. Ken contends that retirement from one’s career is not equivalent to retirement from one’s vocation (or calling)—it’s a lifelong pursuit, and the retirement years can be the best years yet, fruitful and full of purpose. In addition, young and old alike should live wisely and avoid squandering their time by seeking to live for God’s purposes instead of their own.
