Holistic Spirituality: Part 41—Purpose

Ken Boa discusses life’s purpose, starting with our ultimate purpose (why did God make human beings?), moving into our universal purpose (or our “primary calling”—to know and love God), and ending with our unique purpose (how we live out our primary calling based on our unique set of skills, circumstances, and personality). To live a life of integrity, rather than a life bifurcated into secular and spiritual arenas, our secondary calling should be an overflow of our primary calling—an expression of our relationship with God. This teaching is based on the latter part of chapter 20 (“Stewardship & Purpose”) in Conformed to His Image (pp. 248–252).
