Moses had several objections to serving as God’s instrument and mouthpiece. He doubted his own ability and authority. He was afraid to speak to the Egyptians and suggested that God send someone else. All the same, Moses’ deficiencies did not hinder God. God chooses the weak to shame the strong (cf. 1 Corinthians 1:27). His glory is displayed even more when He chooses unexpected instruments. God will equip those whom He calls.
