Daily Encouragement Day 31 – Exodus 6

It often seems that the Lord does not work until we reach the end of our own resources.  Now that all seemed lost, God assured Moses that He was about to guide His people out of Egypt with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.  Hearing these words of assurance, Moses relayed them to his people, but in their anguish of spirit they would not heed him.  Nevertheless, the Lord re-commissioned Moses for the great task he was to undertake.

Prayer:

Lord, I thank You that You revealed Yourself to Your people as Yahweh, the personal, covenant-keeping God who was, and is, and is to come, the Almighty.  Thank You for your concern for our plight and our needs.  May I always be responsive to Your gracious initiatives.
