Daily Prayer Day 102

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

May I be above reproach, temperate, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money, one who manages his own family well, and who keeps his children under control with proper respect.  Grant me a good reputation with outsiders, so that I will not fall into disgrace and the snare of the devil.  (1 Timothy 3:2-4, 7)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Long ago You ordained Your plan, and now You are bringing it to pass.  (2 Kings 19:25; Isaiah 37:26)

The Lord who created the heavens, He is God.  He fashioned and made the earth and established it; He did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited.  He is the Lord, and there is no other.  (Isaiah 45:18)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

If Christ is in me, my body is dead because of sin, yet my spirit is alive because of righteousness.  And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in me, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to my mortal body through His Spirit, who lives in me.  (Romans 8:10-11)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Above all, I will have a fervent love for others, because love covers a multitude of sins.  (1 Peter 4:8)

If I forgive men for their transgressions, my heavenly Father will also forgive me.  (Matthew 6:14)

Lord, I thank You for Your eternal plan and for creating the heavens and the earth.  I thank You that the Holy Spirit lives in me, and I ask that I would love others and forgive them just as I have been forgiven.
