Daily Prayer Day 13
I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.
When I seek the Lord my God, I will find Him if I seek Him with all my heart and with all my soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
I will give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His lovingkindness endures forever. I will give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful acts to the children of men, for He satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with good things. (Psalm 107:1, 8-9)
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, "Come, you who are blessed by My Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world." (Matthew 25:31-34)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
God is my strong fortress, and He sets the blameless free in His way. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me Your shield of victory; You stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, and my feet have not slipped. (2 Samuel 22:33-37)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
The Lord is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words. I considered my ways and turned my steps to Your testimonies. (Psalm 119:57, 59)
I will devote myself to prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2) &
Lord, I thank You for Your goodness and unfailing love and for Your assurance that Christ will return and bring justice to the earth. I thank You for being my strong fortress, and I ask that I would be devoted to knowing and following You.
