Daily Prayer Day 203

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ.

Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
For the Lord God is my strength and my song,
And He has become my salvation.  (Isaiah 12:2)

I will trust in the Lord forever,
For in Yahweh, the Lord, I have an everlasting Rock.  (Isaiah 26:4)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Nothing is impossible with God.  (Luke 1:37)

When Jesus said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven," the scribes were sitting there and reasoned in their hearts, "Why does this man speak blasphemies like this?  Who can forgive sins but God alone?"  (Mark 2:5-7)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I will stand firm, having girded my waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.  I will take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  With all prayer and petition, I will pray always in the Spirit, and to this end I will be watchful with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.  (Ephesians 6:14-18)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.  (Proverbs 22:4)

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!  (Isaiah 5:21)

Lord, I thank You that nothing is impossible with You and that Jesus has the divine authority to forgive sins.  I thank You for the spiritual weapons of warfare that You have provided, and I ask that I would not be wise in my own eyes, but that I would live in humility and the fear of the Lord..
