Daily Prayer Day 204

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

Lord, You have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.
Before the mountains were born
Or You brought forth the earth and the world,
From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
You turn men back into dust,
And say, "Return, O children of men."
For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by
Or like a watch in the night.  (Psalm 90:1-4)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  (Hebrews 13:8)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Where two or three come together in the name of Jesus, He is there in their midst.  (Matthew 18:20)

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Son of Man had to be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.  (John 3:14-15)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  I will hope in the Lord and be of good courage, and He will strengthen my heart; yes, I will hope in the Lord.  (Psalm 27:13-14)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

You have shown me what is good; and what does the Lord require of me but to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with my God?  (Micah 6:8)

You have given us a new commandment to love one another even as You have loved us; so we must love one another.  By this all men will know that we are Your disciples, if we have love for one another.  (John 13:34)

Lord, I thank You for Your promised presence and for the eternal life that Jesus provided in His death and resurrection.  I thank You that I can confidently hope in You, and I ask that I would act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You as I love others.
