Daily Prayer Day 333

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

May I fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith, so that there will be laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.  (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

You revealed Yourself to Moses as "I AM WHO I AM."  (Exodus 3:14)

There is one body and one Spirit, just as we were called in one hope of our calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.  (Ephesians 4:4-6)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I will fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all my heart, for I consider what great things He has done for me.  (1 Samuel 12:24)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Better is a dry crust with quietness than a house full of feasting with strife.  (Proverbs 17:1)

A man of great wrath must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.  (Proverbs 19:19)

Lord, I thank You that You are the everlasting God and that You are over all, through all, and in all.  I thank You for the great things You have done for me, and I ask that I would not capitulate to strife and anger.
