Daily Prayer Day 357

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ.

We are looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good works.  (Titus 2:13-14)

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.  To Him be glory forever and ever.  (2 Timothy 4:18)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

"The Lord lives!  Blessed be my Rock!  Exalted be God, the Rock of my salvation!  (2 Samuel 22:47)

If the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God?  (Hebrews 9:13-14)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim You, who walk in the light of Your presence, O Lord.  They rejoice in Your name all day long, and they are exalted in Your righteousness.  (Psalm 89:15-16)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool will be thrown down.  (Proverbs 10:8)

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel.  (Proverbs 12:15)

Lord, I thank You that You are the exalted Rock of my salvation and that the blood of Christ cleanses me from all impurity.  I thank You for the light of Your presence, and I ask that I would be wise in heart and listen to counsel.
