Daily Prayer Day 363

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

As the Father has loved You, You also have loved me.  May I abide in Your love.  If I keep Your commandments, I will abide in Your love, just as You kept Your Father’s commandments and abide in His love.  You have told me this so that Your joy may be in me and that my joy may be full.  (John 15:9-11)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

You are He; You are the first, and You are also the last.  (Isaiah 48:12)

Jesus will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.  The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end.  (Luke 1:32-33)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Who will bring a charge against those whom God has chosen?  It is God who justifies.  Who is he who condemns?  It is Christ Jesus who died, who was furthermore raised to life, who is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for me.  (Romans 8:33-34)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will endure discipline, for God is treating me as a son.  For what son is not disciplined by his father?  If I am without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then I am an illegitimate child and not a true son.  Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them; how much more should I be subjected to the Father of spirits and live?  (Hebrews 12:7-9)

We should bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.  (Galatians 6:2)

Lord, I thank You for being the first and the last and for Jesus whose glorious kingdom will never end.  I thank You that Christ Jesus intercedes on my behalf, and I ask that I would endure Your discipline and encourage others to do the same.
