Daily Prayer Day 92

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
He is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the nations are idols,
But the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
I will ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
I will ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name
And worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  (Psalm 96:4-9)

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who finds great delight in His commands.  (Psalm 112:1)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Heaven and earth will pass away, but the words of the Lord Jesus will never pass away.  (Matthew 24:35; Luke 21:33)

The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the elements will be destroyed by intense heat, and the earth and its works will be laid bare.  The day of God will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt with intense heat.  (2 Peter 3:10, 12)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

We are Your friends if we do what You command.  No longer do You call us servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing.  Instead, You have called us friends, for everything that You learned from Your Father, You have made known to us.  We did not choose You, but You chose us and appointed us to go and bear fruit, and that our fruit should remain, that whatever we ask the Father in Your name, He may give to us.  (John 15:14-16)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Whoever acknowledges You before men, You will also acknowledge him before Your Father in heaven.  But whoever denies You before men, You will also deny him before Your Father in heaven.  (Matthew 10:32-33)

I will not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, but I will join with others in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God.  (2 Timothy 1:8)

Lord, I thank You that Your promises are sure, and that You will create new heavens and a new earth.  I thank You for choosing me to bear fruit, and I ask that I would acknowledge Jesus Christ before others.
