Daily Prayer Day 95

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

As one who has been chosen of God, holy and beloved, may I put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with others and forgiving others even as the Lord forgave me; and above all these things, may I put on love, which is the bond of perfection.  (Colossians 3:12-14) 

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The word that goes forth from Your mouth will not return to You empty but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it.  (Isaiah 55:11)

God has made everything beautiful in its time.  He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.  (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Those who obey Christ’s commandments abide in Him, and He in them.  And this is how I know that He abides in me: by the Spirit whom He has given me.  (1 John 3:24)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will keep the pattern of sound teaching that I have heard, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.  (2 Timothy 1:13)

I want everything I do to be done in love.  (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Lord, I thank You that Your word never returns empty and that You have set eternity in our hearts.  I thank You that You have given me Your Holy Spirit, and I ask that I would walk in faith and in love.
