Daily Prayer Day 98

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ. 

Shout for joy, O heavens!  Rejoice, O earth! 
Break out into singing, O mountains! 
For the Lord has comforted His people
And will have compassion on His afflicted.  (Isaiah 49:13)

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord;
My soul will be joyful in my God. 
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation
And arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.  (Isaiah 61:10)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

God fashions the hearts of all and understands all their works.  (Psalm 33:15)

You alone are the Lord.  You made the heavens, even the heaven of heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them.  You give life to all that is in them, and the host of heaven worships You.  (Nehemiah 9:6)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.  May my meditation be pleasing to Him; I will be glad in the Lord.  (Psalm 104:33-34)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not take vengeance or bear a grudge against others, but I will love my neighbor as myself.  (Leviticus 19:18)

Whatever I want others to do to me, I will also do to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.  (Matthew 7:12)

Lord, I thank You for making all things and for understanding the hearts of all.  I ask that I would be glad in You and that I would serve others in the way I wish them to treat me.
