Daily Scripture Knowing and Loving God: Part 2

I want to know God and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every motive behind the thoughts.  (1 Chronicles 28:9)

The joy of the Lord is my strength.  (Nehemiah 8:10)

It is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.  (Job 32:8)

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my body also will rest in hope.  You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand are pleasures forever.  (Psalm 16:8-9, 11)

I love You, O Lord, my strength.  The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.  He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I call upon the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.  (Psalm 18:1-3)

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.  When shall I come and appear before God?  (Psalm 42:1-2)

O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.  (Psalm 63:1)

Whom have I in heaven but You?  And there is nothing on earth I desire besides You.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.  Those who are far from You will perish; You have cut off all who are unfaithful to You.  But as for me, the nearness of God is my good.  I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.  (Psalm 73:25-28)

How lovely are Your dwellings, O Lord of hosts!  My soul longs and even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.  (Psalm 84:1-2)

Blessed are those whose strength is in You, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.  (Psalm 84:5)
