Daily Scripture Prayers of Adoration: Part 3

The Lord is great and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the nations are idols,
But the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and joy are in His place.
I will ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
I will ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name
And worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Tremble before him, all the earth.
The world is firmly established, it will not be moved.  (1 Chronicles 16:25-30)

Blessed are You, O Lord, God of Israel, our father, forever and ever.  Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours.  Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.  Both riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of all things.  In Your hand is power and might to exalt and to give strength to all.  Therefore, my God, I give You thanks and praise Your glorious name.  (1 Chronicles 29:10-13)

The heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain the Lord.  (2 Chronicles 2:6; 6:18)

O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven?  Are You not the ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations?  Power and might are in Your hand, and no one is able to withstand You.  (2 Chronicles 20:6)

You alone are the Lord.
You made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens, and all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all that is in them,
And the host of heaven worships You.  (Nehemiah 9:6)

You are the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps His covenant of lovingkindness.  (Nehemiah 9:32)

To God belong wisdom and power;
Counsel and understanding are His.  (Job 12:13)

The Lord stretches out the north over empty space;
He suspends the earth on nothing.  (Job 26:7)

Where does wisdom come from?
Where does understanding dwell?
It is hidden from the eyes of every living thing
And concealed from the birds of the air.
Destruction and Death say,
"Only a rumor of it has reached our ears."
God understands its way,
And He knows its place.
For He looks to the ends of the earth
And sees everything under the heavens.  (Job 28:20-24)

Who gave God authority over the earth?
Who put Him in charge of the whole world?
If He set His heart on it and withdrew His spirit and His breath,
All flesh would perish together
And man would return to dust.  (Job 34:13-15)
