Daily Scripture Prayers of Affirmation: Part 1

Like Abram, when I believe in Your promises, You will credit it to me as righteousness.  (Genesis 15:5-6)

Far be it from You to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike.  Far be it from You!  Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?  (Genesis 18:25)

The Lord is a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Him, but showing lovingkindness to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.  (Exodus 20:5-6; Deuteronomy 5:9-10)

The Lord is my portion and my inheritance.  (Numbers 18:20)

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change his mind.  Has He spoken and not done it?  Has He promised and not fulfilled it?  (Numbers 23:19)

I will not be afraid of my enemies; the Lord my God Himself will fight for me.  (Deuteronomy 3:22)  

When I seek the Lord my God, I will find Him if I seek Him with all my heart and with all my soul.  (Deuteronomy 4:29)

I have not yet come to the resting place and the inheritance the Lord my God is giving me.  (Deuteronomy 12:9)
