Daily Scripture Prayers of Affirmation: Part 10

The Lord is far from the wicked,
But He hears the prayer of the righteous.  (Proverbs 15:29)

He who listens to a life-giving rebuke
Will be at home among the wise. 
He who refuses instruction despises himself,
But he who heeds correction gains understanding.  (Proverbs 15:31-32)

When I commit my works to the Lord,
My plans will be established.  (Proverbs 16:3)

In his heart a man plans his way,
But the Lord determines his steps.  (Proverbs 16:9)

He who heeds the word prospers,
And blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.  (Proverbs 16:20)

Many are the plans in a man’s heart,
But it is the counsel of the Lord that will stand.  (Proverbs 19:21)

He who pursues righteousness and love
Finds life, righteousness, and honor.  (Proverbs 21:21)

There is no wisdom or understanding
Or counsel that can succeed against the Lord.  (Proverbs 21:30)

Blessed is the man who always fears God,
But he who hardens his heart falls into trouble.  (Proverbs 28:14)

The fear of man brings a snare,
But he who trusts in the Lord is set on high.  (Proverbs 29:25)
