Daily Scripture Prayers of Affirmation: Part 2

Your words are not just idle words for me—they are my life.  (Deuteronomy 32:47)

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.  (Joshua 24:15)

The Lord is the God of knowledge,
And by Him actions are weighed.  (1 Samuel 2:3)

The Lord brings death and makes alive;
He brings down to the grave and raises up. 
The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
He humbles and He exalts. 
He raises the poor from the dust
And lifts the needy from the ash heap,
To seat them with princes
And make them inherit a throne of honor. 
For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s,
And He has set the world upon them.  (1 Samuel 2:6-8)

The Lord will guard the feet of His saints,
But the wicked will be silenced in darkness. 
It is not by strength that one prevails;
Those who contend with the Lord will be shattered. 
He will thunder against them from heaven;
The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. 
He will give strength to His king
And exalt the horn of His anointed.  (1 Samuel 2:9-10)

You will honor those who honor You, but those who despise You will be disdained.  (1 Samuel 2:30)

Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.  (1 Samuel 14:6)

He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.  (1 Samuel 15:29)

The Lord does not save by human devices, for the battle is the Lord’s.  (1 Samuel 17:47)

The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness.  (1 Samuel 26:23)
