From Handbook to Wisdom

God is in control of all things, and He has my best interests at heart.

The Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength.
Indeed, the world is firmly established;
it cannot be moved.
Your throne is established from of old;
You are from everlasting.
Your testimonies stand firm;
holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever.

O Lord, it gives me real comfort to know that Your character never changes and that Your promises stand firm forever. Nothing can thwart Your good plans, and knowing this gives me great assurance in this world of turmoil, change, and uncertainty. My confidence is in Your goodness and majesty. Amen.
