Daily Encouragement: Day 91

From Handbook to Wisdom

When I listen to the wisdom from above, I will walk securely.

The waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to wisdom will live securely
and be at ease from the fear of evil.
(Proverbs 1:32–33)

O Lord, keep me from being wayward and complacent. Guard my paths and give me a growing desire to listen carefully to Your wisdom and to walk in obedience to it. When I seek You first, I will live securely and be at ease from the fear of evil. Amen.
