I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

Praise the Lord!
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His loving mercy endures forever.
Who can express the mighty acts of the Lord
Or fully declare His praise? (Psalm 106:1–2)

You endowed the heart with wisdom
And gave understanding to the mind. (Job 38:36)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

O Sovereign Lord, You are God! Your words are true, and You have promised good things to Your servant. (2 Samuel 7:28)

God will impute righteousness to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered over to death because of our sins and was raised because of our justification. (Romans 4:24–25)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Through faith I am guarded by the power of God for salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:5)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones. (Proverbs 14:30)

The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down into the innermost parts of the body. (Proverbs 18:8)

Lord, I thank You for the greatness of Your promises and for the righteousness You have given to me in Christ. I thank You for the salvation that will be fully revealed at His coming, and I ask that I would not succumb to envy and malicious gossip.
