Obeying the Golden Rule
(Renewal)

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

If I abide in You, and Your words abide in me, I can ask whatever I wish, and it will be done for me. As I ask in Your name, I will receive, that my joy may be full. (John 15:7; 16:24)

As I walk in the Spirit, I will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh; for they oppose each other so that I may not do the things that I wish. (Galatians 5:16–17)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord, and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

I will not take vengeance or bear a grudge against others, but I will love my neighbor as myself. (Leviticus 19:18)

Whatever I want others to do to me, I will also do to them. (Matthew 7:12)

Lord, I thank You for making all things and for understanding the hearts of all. I ask that I would be glad in You and that I would serve others in the way I wish them to treat me.
