Daily Prayer: Year 2, Day 103

From Handbook to Prayer

Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or instructed Him as His counselor?
Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten Him,
And who taught Him the path of justice?
Who taught Him knowledge
Or showed Him the way of understanding?
Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket
And are regarded as dust on the scales;
He weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
Before Him all the nations are as nothing;
They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and worthless.
To whom, then, will I compare God?
Or what likeness will I compare with Him? (Isaiah 40:13–15, 17–18)

Pause to express your thoughts of praise and worship.

Who among us fears the Lord
And obeys the word of His Servant?
Let him who walks in darkness and has no light
Trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God. (Isaiah 50:10)

Ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.
