Affirmation
He who loves his father or mother more than You is not worthy of You; he who loves his son or daughter more than You is not worthy of You. (Matthew 10:37)
He who does not take his cross and follow after You is not worthy of You. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for Your sake will find it. (Matthew 10:38–39)

Thanksgiving
In Christ I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. (Ephesians 1:7–8)
