From Handbook to Prayer
May I guard my heart with all diligence,
For out of it flow the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)
May I not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
May I be ready, for the Son of Man will come at an hour when I do not expect Him. (Matthew 24:44; Luke 12:40)
Pause to add your own prayers for personal renewal.
May I not live the rest of my time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For I have spent enough time in the past in doing the will of those without God, when I walked in licentiousness, lusts, drunkenness, carousals, drinking parties, and detestable idolatries. (1 Peter 4:2–3)

My activities for this day
My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my hope comes from Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
In God is my salvation and my glory;
My rock of strength, my refuge is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:5–8)
