My Relationship to God–Faith, Trust, and Dependence

When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust. I will not fear; what can mortal man do to me? (Psalm 56:3–4)

You preserve my life, and I am devoted to You. You are my God; You will save Your servant who trusts in You. (Psalm 86:2)

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1–2)

The Lord is my stronghold, and my God is a rock of refuge to me. (Psalm 94:22)

I will seek the Lord and His strength; I will seek His face continually. I will remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments of His mouth. (Psalm 105:4–5)

I lift up my eyes to You, to You who dwell in heaven. As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so my eyes look to the Lord my God, until He shows me His mercy. (Psalm 123:1–2)
