Jesus asked His disciples, “What do you seek?” which could be rephrased as, “What is your ambition?” Pleasing God is the only ambition that will endure beyond this life, and the first step toward pursuing it is faith in God through His Son Jesus Christ (without such faith, Hebrews 11:6 says, it’s impossible to please Him).
