Being, Knowing, and Doing—Part 36 The Spiritual Life: Loving Yourself Correctly

This entry is part 36 of 37 in the series Being, Knowing, and Doing

Who are you? What defines you? People look to many sources for their identity: money, position, political party, career, social media, sexuality, family… the list goes on. However, what really defines you as you? Who or what has the final say? God, as the Author of life, defines who you are. As we come to love and know God more completely, we’ll be better able to love and know ourselves correctly. Our perspective comes from our unchanging God and our identity in Christ.

This teaching is part 36 of a subseries on stewardship in the larger series, “Being, Knowing & Doing: How Godly Principles Strategically Affect Men’s Everyday Lives.”
