The 52 Greatest Stories of the Bible (Story #3): Promise of a Nation (Genesis 12)

Ken Boa’s 52 Greatest Stories of the Bible series continues with Genesis 12, in which we learn how God did the impossible through a “random nobody who lived in the middle of nowhere.”1 That “nobody,” of course, was Abram (later renamed Abraham), whose descendants eventually became a great nation that blessed the entire world (principally, through the person of Jesus Christ). The story of Abraham is a story of hope and of God setting apart a people for Himself, for His glory.
