Ephesians 2: Peace in Uncertainty
The world does not provide answers for our deepest questions. Only when we grasp who and whose we are can we have peace in uncertainty.

What is your identity? How can you get to know Christ better? The key is cultivating an appetite for knowing God by spending time in His Word and obeying Him.
If the resurrection is true, then how we live matters. Every choice we make has an impact on our lives, showing whether we find our identity based on our “earth suit” or on our spiritual life.
Sin separates, but grace brings things together. If we have been saved by the blood of Christ, then we are part of His Body in all its unity and diversity.
We are God’s workmanship. Out of that identity, we do good works, resting in the assurance we have through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We were all dead in our trespasses—no exceptions. But Ephesians 2:1–7 tells of the glorious transformation from death to life for those who are in Christ.
If I were asked to explain how Christianity is unique compared to every other religion in the world, I would say it boils down to this one verse: “By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
