Daily Prayer Day 100

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I am grateful to You, O God, for the blessing of your forgiveness.  I thank You that in Christ, You set me free from the guilt of the past and give me hope for the future.

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?
Who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol
Or sworn by what is false.  (Psalm 24:3-4)

Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin.  Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength.  Who has resisted Him without harm?  (Job 9:4)

O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth.  You have made heaven and earth. (Isaiah 37:16)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

God both raised the Lord and will also raise me up through His power.  (1 Corinthians 6:14)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Like Ezra, I want to set my heart to study the word of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach it to others.  (Ezra 7:10)

I want to be a person of faith, who does not doubt the promises of God, and not a double-minded man, who is unstable in all his ways.  (James 1:6, 8)

Lord, I thank You for Your wisdom and strength and for Your authority over all things.  I thank You for the assurance of the resurrection, and I ask that I would know Your word and hope in Your promises.
