Daily Prayer Day 108

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

If I abide in You, and Your words abide in me, I can ask whatever I wish, and it will be done for me.  As I ask in Your name, I will receive, that my joy may be full.  (John 15:7, 16:24)

As I walk in the Spirit, I will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.  For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh; for they oppose each other, so that I may not do the things that I wish.  But if I am led by the Spirit, I am not under the law.  (Galatians 5:16-18)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

O Lord, God of heaven, You are the great and awesome God, keeping Your covenant of loyal love with those who love You and obey Your commands.  (Nehemiah 1:5)

The Lord said, "In My Father’s house are many dwellings; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that you also may be where I am."  (John 14:2-3)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

When I am afraid, I will trust in You.  In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust.  I will not fear; what can mortal man do to me?  (Psalm 56:3-4)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will learn to do good, seek justice, remove the oppressor, defend the orphan, and plead for the widow.  (Isaiah 1:17)

I will not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.  (Hebrews 13:16)

Lord, I thank You that You are the great and awesome God and that Jesus is preparing a heavenly dwelling for me.  I thank You that I can trust in You, and I ask that I would do good and share with others.
