Daily Prayer Day 110

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

Restore us again, O God of our salvation,
And put away Your anger toward us.
Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
Will You not revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
Show us Your lovingkindness, O Lord,
And grant us Your salvation.  (Psalm 85:4-7)

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High, to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness at night.  (Psalm 92:1-2)

Through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed, that through Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which they could not be justified by the law of Moses.  (Acts 13:38-39)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Because the Lord God helps me, I will not be disgraced.  Therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.  He who vindicates me is near; who will contend with me?  Surely the Lord God will help me; who is he that will condemn me?  (Isaiah 50:7-9)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will be hospitable to others without grumbling.  (1 Peter 4:9)

I will remember those in prison as though bound with them, and those who are mistreated, since I myself am also in the body.  (Hebrews 13:3)

Lord, I thank You for Your lovingkindness and faithfulness and for Your provision of forgiveness through Jesus Christ.  I thank You that You help and vindicate me, and I ask that I would show hospitality and kindness to others.
