Daily Prayer Day 128
I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
I am grateful to You, O God, for the blessing of your forgiveness. I thank You that in Christ, You set me free from the guilt of the past and give me hope for the future.
When my soul was fainting away,
I remembered the Lord,
And my prayer went up to You, to Your holy temple.
Those who cling to worthless idols
Forsake Your lovingkindness.
But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of thanksgiving.
I will fulfill what I have vowed.
Salvation is from the Lord. (Jonah 2:7-9)
Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and Your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere You, O King of the nations? It is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like You. (Jeremiah 10:6-7)
Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom of God, and said, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the good news." (Mark 1:14-15)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
No one who waits for You will be ashamed, but those who are treacherous without cause will be ashamed. Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation, and my hope is in You all day long. (Psalm 25:3-5)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
If we have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, we should also be like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and one in purpose. (Philippians 2:1-2)
Just as the body is one, but has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12)
Lord, I thank You that there is none like You and that Jesus offered the good news of the kingdom. I ask that You would teach me Your ways and lead me in Your paths, and that I would be of one mind and spirit with other believers.
