Daily Prayer Day 132

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You through the watches of the night. 
Because You have been my help,
I will rejoice in the shadow of Your wings. 
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.  (Psalm 63:6-8)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

I will ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.  I will ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name and worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  (Psalm 29:1-2)

Christ was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.  He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him.  (John 1:10-11)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.  (Matthew 5:10-12)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.  (Romans 12:15)

I will accept others, just as Christ accepted me to the glory of God.  (Romans 15:7)

Lord, I thank You for Your glory and strength and for Christ’s service of those who did not realize who He was.  I thank You that You reward those who are persecuted for Your sake, and I ask that I would show compassion and acceptance to others.
