Daily Prayer Day 137

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

May it be unto me as you said to Jacob, "Behold, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go; I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."  (Genesis 28:15)

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The Lord God is the Alpha and the Omega, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.  (Revelation 1:8)

Jesus said, "My Father loves Me because I lay down My life that I may take it up again.  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord.  I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.  This command I received from My Father."  (John 10:17-18)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.  To Him be glory forever and ever.  (2 Timothy 4:18)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Whoever gives another a cup of water to drink because of his name as a follower of Christ will by no means lose his reward.   (Mark 9:41)

When I give, it will be given to me; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be poured into my lap.  For with the measure I use, it will be measured back to me.  (Luke 6:38)

Lord, I thank You that You are the Alpha and the Omega and that Jesus had the authority to lay down His life and to take it up again.  I ask that You would deliver me from every evil work and that I would be generous in my service to others.
