Daily Prayer Day 138

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

You have given us a new commandment to love one another even as You have loved us; so we must love one another.  By this all men will know that we are Your disciples, if we have love for one another.  (John 13:34)

This is Your commandment, that we love one another, as You have loved us.  (John 15:12)

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Jesus proved through His works that the Father is in Him, and that He is in the Father.  (John 10:38)

All these testified that Jesus is the Son of God: John the Baptist, the works that Jesus did, the Father, and the Scriptures.  (John 5:31-39)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

You have blessed me and kept me; You have made Your face shine upon me and have been gracious to me; You have turned Your face toward me and given me peace.  (Numbers 6:24-26)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I have kept my feet from every evil path that I might keep Your word.  I gain understanding from Your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.  (Psalm 119:101, 104)

I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.  (Psalm 119:11)

Lord, I thank You that You authenticated the person and work of Jesus Your Son.  I thank You for blessing and keeping me, and I ask that I would hide Your word in my heart and keep my feet from every evil path.
