Daily Prayer Day 146

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.  (Matthew 6:9-10)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things.  O God, who is like You?  (Psalm 71:19)

We know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be silenced, and the whole world held accountable to God; because no one will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.  (Romans 3:19-20)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

God will not always strive with us, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.  For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  As a father has compassion on His children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.  (Psalm 103:9-13)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will be strong and courageous; I will not be afraid or discouraged because of my adversaries, for there is a greater power with me than with them, for the Lord my God is with me to help me.  (2 Chronicles 32:7-8)

I will be on my guard, stand firm in the faith, act with courage, and be strong.  (1 Corinthians 16:13)

Lord, I thank You for the great things You have done and for the power of Your revealed word.  I thank You for Your limitless compassion, and I ask that I would act with courage and stand firm in the faith.
