Daily Prayer Day 171

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I remove the places of idolatry from my life, and like Asa, let my heart be fully committed to God all my days.  (2 Chronicles 15:17)

May I trust in the Lord and do good; may I dwell in the land and feed on Your faithfulness.  When I delight myself in the Lord, You will give me the desires of my heart.  I will commit my way to the Lord and trust in You, and You will bring it to pass.  You will bring forth my righteousness like the light, and my justice like the noonday.  May I rest in the Lord and wait patiently for You; I will not fret because of him who prospers in his way, with the man who practices evil schemes.  (Psalm 37:3-7)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!  For who has known the mind of the Lord?  Or who has been His counselor?  Or who has first given to Him, that He should repay him?  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be the glory forever!  Amen.  (Romans 11:33-36)

There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given in its proper time.  (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

May my love abound more and more in full knowledge and depth of insight, so that I may be able to approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ—having been filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.  (Philippians 1:9-11)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

As we have opportunity, we should do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of faith.  (Galatians 6:10)

God is not unjust to be forgetful of our work and the love we have shown toward His name in having ministered and continuing to minister to the saints.  (Hebrews 6:10)

Lord, I thank You for the depth of Your wisdom and knowledge and for Jesus Christ, the perfect Mediator between God and men.  I pray that my love and knowledge of You would abound, and I ask that I would minister to the saints.
