Daily Prayer Day 210

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ.

The Lord has bared His holy arm
In the sight of all the nations,
And all the ends of the earth will see
The salvation of our God.  (Isaiah 52:10)

The Lord has performed mighty deeds with His arm;
He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their heart.
He has brought down rulers from their thrones
And has lifted up the humble.  (Luke 1:51-52)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the hearts.  (Proverbs 17:3)

How great are Your works, O Lord!  Your thoughts are very deep.  The senseless man does not know; fools do not understand that when the wicked spring up like grass and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.  But You, O Lord, are exalted forever.  (Psalm 92:5-7)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I know that He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise me with Jesus and present me in His presence.  (2 Corinthians 4:14)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not slander other believers.  Anyone who slanders his brother or judges his brother slanders the law and judges the law.  When I judge the law, I am not a doer of the law, but a judge.  There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy.  Who am I to judge my neighbor?  (James 4:11-12)

The one who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.  But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.  (1 John 2:10-11)

Lord, I thank You for Your staggering thoughts and for Your marvelous works.  I thank You that You will raise me with Jesus, and I ask that I would not slander or judge others, but that I would abide in the light by loving them instead.
