Daily Prayer Day 214

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame.
In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me;
Turn Your ear to me and save me.
Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go;
You have given the commandment to save me,
For You are my rock and my fortress.  (Psalm 71:1-3)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.  (Job 37:5)

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, has spoken and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.  (Psalm 50:1)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

My hope in God is an anchor of my soul, both sure and steadfast, and it enters the inner sanctuary behind the veil, where Jesus the forerunner has entered on my behalf, having become a high priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.  (Hebrews 6:19-20)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

As one who has believed in God, I want to be careful to devote myself to doing what is good.  These things are good and profitable for everyone.  (Titus 3:8)

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.  (1 John 4:10-12)

Lord, I thank You that You do great things which we cannot comprehend and that You have spoken with crowning authority.  I thank You that my hope in Christ is the sure and steadfast anchor of my soul, and I ask that I would devote myself to doing what is good by manifesting Your love.
