I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

Lord Jesus, You are coming quickly.  Your reward is with You, and You will give to everyone according to what he has done.  You are the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  Yes, You are coming quickly.  Amen.  Come, Lord Jesus!  (Revelation 22:12-13, 20)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph, is the Messiah (that is, the Christ).  He is the One Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote.  (John 1:41, 45)

Behold, a virgin shall be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call His name Immanuel, which means, "God with us."  (Matthew 1:23)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I should not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man gives me, for God the Father has set His seal on Him.  (John 6:27)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

The end of all things is near; therefore I will be clear minded and self-controlled for prayer.  (1 Peter 4:7)

The sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the sons of light.  I would be wise to use worldly wealth to make friends for myself, so that when it is gone, they may welcome me into the eternal dwellings.  (Luke 16:8-9)

Lord, I thank You for Your incarnate Son and for His perfect fulfillment of the Law and the prophets.  I thank You for the food that endures to eternal life, and I ask that I would be prayerful and prudent in the use of my worldly resources.
