Daily Prayer Day 235

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

In Christ Jesus my Lord, I have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.  (Ephesians 3:12)

Just as I received Christ Jesus the Lord, so let me walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as I was taught, and abounding in thanksgiving.  (Colossians 2:6-7)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The Lord is righteous; He loves righteousness; the upright will see His face.  (Psalm 11:7)

The children of Israel were a people holy to the Lord their God.  The Lord God chose them out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be His people, His treasured possession.  The Lord did not set His love on them and choose them because they were more numerous than other peoples, for they were the fewest of all peoples.  But it was because the Lord loved them and kept the oath He swore to their fathers that He brought them out with a mighty hand and redeemed them from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.  (Deuteronomy 7:6-8)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I love You, O Lord, my strength.  The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.  He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I call upon the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.  (Psalm 18:1-3)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not show partiality in judgment; I will hear both small and great alike.  I will not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God.  (Deuteronomy 1:17)

Lord, who may dwell in Your tabernacle?  Who may live on Your holy mountain?  He who walks uprightly and works righteousness and speaks the truth in his heart; he does not slander with his tongue nor does evil to his neighbor nor takes up a reproach against his friend; he despises the reprobate but honors those who fear the Lord.  He keeps his oath even when it hurts, lends his money without interest, and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.  He who does these things will never be shaken.  (Psalm 15:1-5)

Lord, I thank You for Your righteousness and for loving and redeeming Your chosen people.  I thank You that You are my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, and I ask that I would walk uprightly, work righteousness, and speak the truth in my heart.
