Daily Prayer Day 306

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

May the God of peace Himself sanctify us completely, and may our whole spirit, soul, and body will be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He who calls us is faithful, who also will do it.  (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.  (Psalm 7:17)

As the earth brings forth its sprouts and as a garden causes that which is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.  (Isaiah 61:11)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Through Jesus, I will continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.  (Hebrews 13:15)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.  (Proverbs 11:4)

I will honor the Lord with my wealth and with the firstfruits of all my increase.  (Proverbs 3:9)

Lord, I thank You for Your perfect character and for Your intention to extend Your righteousness throughout the earth.  I pray that I would take pleasure in You above all things, and I ask that I would honor You with the resources You have entrusted to me.
