Daily Prayer Day 346

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I be righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.  (Luke 1:6)

May I love my enemies, do good to those who hate me, bless those who curse me, and pray for those who mistreat me.  Just as I want others to do to me, may I do to them in the same way.  (Luke 6:27-28, 31)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive and abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.  (Psalm 86:5)

Peter told the council, "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you had killed by hanging Him on a tree.  God exalted Him to His own right hand as Prince and Savior, that He might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel."  (Acts 5:30-31)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

If anyone loves You, he will keep Your word; and Your Father will love him, and You and Your Father will come to him and make Your home with him.  (John 14:23)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and humility comes before honor.  (Proverbs 15:33)

I will not let any corrupt word come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may impart grace to those who hear.  (Ephesians 4:29)

Lord, I thank You for the abundance of Your mercy and for Your great gift of forgiveness through the resurrected Christ.  I pray that I would love You more, and I ask that I would practice humility and build others up with my words.
