Daily Prayer Day 71

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty heavens.
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the harp and lyre.
Praise Him with the timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes.
Praise Him on the sounding cymbals;
Praise Him on the resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!  (Psalm 150:1-6)

The Lord shall reign for ever and ever.  (Exodus 15:18)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

My Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is Your name; You are the Holy One of Israel.  (Isaiah 47:4)

The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.  And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasing to the eye and good for food.  In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and take care of it.  (Genesis 2:7, 9, 15)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Because I am a son, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into my heart, crying, "Abba, Father."  So I am no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.  (Galatians 4:6-7)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I desire to be diligent to realize the full assurance of hope to the end.  I do not want to become sluggish but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.  (Hebrews 6:11-12)

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.  (James 1:12)

Lord, I thank You that You are my Redeemer and that You gave me the gift of life.  I thank You for making me Your child and heir, and I ask that I would persevere under trials and receive the crown of life.
