Daily Prayer Day 88

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

May I watch carefully how I walk, not as the unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.  May I not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.  (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  (Colossians 2:3)

As the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  The sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.  (Matthew 24:27, 30)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

God’s divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called me by His own glory and virtue.  Through these He has given me His very great and precious promises, so that through them I may be a partaker of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.  (2 Peter 1:3-4)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not seek my own interests, but those of Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 2:21)

As I follow You, You will make me a fisher of men.  (Matthew 4:19; Mark 1:17)

Lord, I thank You that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ and that He will return to the earth with power and great glory.  I thank You for Your power and for Your precious promises, and I ask that I would seek the interests of Christ Jesus and share His life with others.
