Daily Scripture Courage and Perseverance: Part 3

I will consider it all joy whenever I fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of my faith produces endurance.  And I will let endurance finish its work, so that I may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.  (James 1:2-4)

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.  (James 1:12)

I greatly rejoice in my salvation, though now for a little while, if necessary, I have been grieved by various trials, so that the proving of my faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, even though refined by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  (1 Peter 1:6-7)

Who is going to harm me if I am eager to do good?  But even if I should suffer for what is right, I am blessed, and I will not fear what they fear or be intimidated.  (1 Peter 3:13-14)

Those who suffer according to the will of God should commit themselves to their faithful Creator in doing good.  (1 Peter 4:19)

Since the day of the Lord will come like a thief, what kind of person should I be in holy conduct and godliness as I look for and hasten the coming of the day of God?  But according to His promise, I am looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.  Therefore, since I am looking for these things, I will be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.  (2 Peter 3:10-14)

I will abide in Christ, so that when He appears, I may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.  (1 John 2:28)

Being built up in the most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, I want to keep myself in the love of God as I wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.  (Jude 20-21)
