Daily Scripture Godliness and Reverence: Part 1

Like Noah, I want to be a righteous person, blameless among the people of my time, and one who walks with God.  (Genesis 6:9)

I desire to be righteous before You in my generation.  (Genesis 7:1)

I will be careful not to forget the Lord my God by failing to observe His commandments, His ordinances and His statutes.  (Deuteronomy 8:11)

The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness.  (1 Samuel 26:23)

The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: “He who rules over men in righteousness, who rules in the fear of God, is like the light of morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the earth through the sunshine after rain.”  (2 Samuel 23:3-4)

Like Hezekiah, I want to do what is good and right and true before the Lord my God by seeking Him with all my heart.  (2 Chronicles 31:20-21)

Like Josiah, I desire to do what is right in the sight of the Lord, walking in the ways of David and not turning aside to the right or to the left.  (2 Chronicles 34:1-2)

Like Job, I want to be blameless and upright, fearing God and shunning evil.  (Job 1:1)

You know the way that I take; when You have tested me, I shall come forth as gold.  My feet have held fast to Your steps; I have kept to Your way without turning aside.  (Job 23:10-11)

Men fear You, for You do not regard any who are wise of heart.  (Job 37:24)
